Those reported have occurred around the East Shore area of Crandon Lake between the hours of 2 - 7:30 am on Sunday morning. PLEASE BE SURE TO LOCK YOUR HOMES AND CARS AT ALL TIMES!!

Please note the following changes to our schedule.

• Rec Night is a weekly Crandon event. As long as the weather holds, we have been having Rec Night at Scarpulla Field every Wednesday at 7 pm. Lately, the Crandon youth have been challenging the adults at kickball … which is the cause of this invitation. Adults — please come out to even up the count and have some fun! Rec Night will run until the end of August.
• CLCC will be having "Grown-Up Movie Night" this Friday at 8 pm. We will be showing "American Sniper." Popcorn will be served (while supplies last!) Please arrive around 8 pm. The movie will be shown once it is dark enough to be viewed under the pavilion. Please see the event calendar for additional movie information.
• The CLCC Board of Directors Meeting originally scheduled for the 4th Thursday of the month will instead be on AUGUST 20th at 7:30 pm. The first half hour is open for public discussion.

2015 CLCC Fishing Contest

2015 CLCC Fishing Contest Results

The weather was perfect and the fish were plentiful (though not large) for the 2015 CLCC Fishing Contest. 25 contestants labored for 5 hours during the morning of August 1, 2015, and most of the participants pulled in multiple fish. The pavilion was packed for the awards ceremony, where the top 3 finishers in 4 categories received trophies and prizes. 

The winners were:

Child: Kevin White (1lb 4oz), Kyle White (1lb 1oz), Oliver Gates (6oz)

Pre-Teen: Peyton Myers (1lb 5oz), Devon Myers (11oz), Larry Sharon (9oz)

Teen: Blake Dippel (1lb 8oz), Carlee Lehmkuhl (1lb 7oz), Kaleigh Beyer (2oz)

Adult: Walter Siri (1lb 10oz)*, Tom Murphy (1lb 6oz), Ellie Murphy (1lb 3oz)

I'd like to thank Joe Carbone for keeping your humble judge company during the five hours, and all participants for making the event wonderful once again!

CLCC Designated Dog Area

The park near the playground, or "the Cove" as some call it, is a designated dog swimming area. This is the only CLCC property where dogs are permitted to swim.

Please always pick up after your dog here and when walking. Thank you!

Casino Trip Postponed

Our bus trip to Mount Airy Casino, originally schedule for Saturday, August 8th has been postponed. We will hold this event in the cooler months. So please, enjoy the lake now. Once a new date is confirmed all information will be updated on this site.

We will also be adding a bus trip to the Newton Theatre for "Big Apple Comedy Club" on Friday, September 25th. This is the second time that we will be organizing this event. It's a fun one! Stay tuned for additional information.

Please note the following changes and additions to our schedule.

• PIYO WILL BE CANCELLED ON JULY 23. This class will resume on Thursday, July 30th — rain or shine. Please see the calendar for more details.
• There is a CLCC Board of Directors Meeting on July 23 at 7:30 pm. This has not been changed, but worth a reminder. The first half hour is open for public discussion.
• The Movie Night on Friday, July 24th will feature "Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory" (1971). Popcorn will be served, as well as retro movie popcorn (while supplies last!) Please arrive around 8 pm. The movie will be shown once it is dark enough to be viewed under the pavilion. Please see the calendar for additional movie information.

Calendar Updated

The CLCC calendar has been fully updated, through to the end of August.

Please note that there are some changes from the calendars that were mailed out at the beginning of June.

Error on CLBOD Ballots

Unfortunately due to an error by the Board in interpreting a recent By-Law change brought about by a recent resignation of one of our members, we inadvertently sent out ballots indicating there were four openings on the Board rather than five.

Due to this error on our part, we are extending the voting deadline to July 18th. New ballots will be mailed out in the next 7-10 days. We will announce the results on that day which also happens to be the Lake's Pig Roast.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and we appreciate your support on this.

Lake Treatment on June 9th

The Lake will be treated on Tuesday 6/9/2015.
The entrance cove and ball field cove will be treated for weeds and Lilly pads.

 Normal restrictions apply. Please see signs posted around the area for specific restrictions.
