CLCC October Shareholder's Meeting

PLEASE NOTE: SATURDAY, OCTOBER 27th IS THE ANNUAL CLCC STOCKHOLDER'S BUDGET MEETING AT 10 AM.

Due to the change in the By-Laws, our October meeting will no longer hold a budget vote. Therefore, NO PACKET WAS MAILED with budgetary info. The upcoming Spring Stockholder’s Meeting for Crandon Lakes Country Club, Inc. budget presentation and vote will be held in the month of April 2019. Please expect a mailing around this time.

Also note that the CLCC Board of Director’s monthly meeting has been added to the calendar.

Football at the Office?

We are thinking about showing selected Giants and Jets football games on some Sunday's, Monday nights and Thursday night at the CLCC Office.. We have a 45' TV with cable access.

If interested, please contact Paul Rockwood. In the future CLCC can provide some snacks. We are in the process of buying some comfortable chairs for events inside, however, at this point we have our new benches and metal chairs.

Please respond ASAP. If we have enough interest, we can get this off the ground.

Board Member Opening

As per the CLCC By-Laws we are notifying the Shareholders of this opening. We are asking anyone who may be interested in joining the Board to send in a letter of interest and a brief paragraph on why you would like to serve and your background. We need to have this either through email or dropping it off to the Board office by Tuesday 8/22/18. The Board will discuss the applicants that Thursday at our monthly meeting, and vote on who we feel will add the best qualities to the Board.

Responsibilities include Board attendance the fourth Thursday of the month from 7:00 to approximately 10:00-10:30 PM, be assigned to work on one to two committees, and be active in community activities.

Encore! Encore!

By popular demand, Crandon Lake welcomes back "The Harrison's" (formerly noted in our calendar as "Chris Duo") on Friday, September 14th from 7 pm to 9 pm. This will be our final outdoor performance at the pavilion heading into the fall.

PT Handyman Needed!

We are looking to hire for small projects a person who can do maintenance around the Lake or office on an as-needed basis.

This person will be a CLCC employee with pay up to $20/hour, depending on experience. As a CLCC employee, we will provide any liability insurance necessary. We require a background check as well as any related work or personal references.

PT CLCC Office Clerk Needed!

There is an immediate opening for a part time Office Clerk at the Crandon Lakes office.

A qualified candidate will assist Front Office Manager in all aspects of general clerical needs in a small office. Currently the position is 4-6 hours on either Monday and/or Tuesday throughout the year. Hours and responsibilities may expand in the future.

References and background check required.

Recreation Updates!

Please note the following changes to the recreation schedule:

• The Boot Camp session on Saturday, July 28th has been CANCELLED.

• The time for the musical performance by “Acoustic Wolves Band” on Saturday, August 18th is incorrect on the printed lake calendars given in your June mailing. The correct time for this performance is from 4 pm to 7 pm.

• Please look out for additional music dates into the fall. Information to come!

• Save the date: Crandon is planning for our very own “Octoberfest” to be held on Saturday, September 29th. Information to come!
