Sunday Fun-Day at the Lake!
A special addition to the recreation calendar that's full of fun — including entertainment, games, giveaways, and food! Come on out!!
THE LAKE WILL BE HOSTING A PICNIC, BEGINNING AT 2 PM THIS SUNDAY, AUGUST 14th.
ENTERTAINMENT —
There will be entertainment provided by Denise and Friends, known as "Just Us" performing.
GIVEAWAYS —
At 2 o'clock, 3 o'clock and 4 o'clock we will be giving away 2 free tickets to see a Miner's baseball game.
FOOD —
The lake will supply hamburgers, hotdogs, and steak (limited supply).
GAMES —
Around 6 pm we will be having our first Bingo night of the season. Everyone of all ages will be allowed to play. No charge, but only one card/player/game. Prizes will be awarded. WE are asking for donations so thatcan continue to replenish the "kitty" for additional prizes at our next Bingo night.

Adult Crafts Cancelled Tonight

Tonight's session of "Adult Crafts" scheduled for 7 pm will be cancelled.
This event will resume on August 7th and continue through to the end of August.
Reminder! Steak Bust
In lieu of the Annual Pig Roast, we will be having a CRANDON STEAK BUST
COME ON DOWN AND MEET YOUR NEIGHBORS AT THE CRANDON PAVILION THIS SATURDAY AT 3 PM FOR A "STEAK BUST."
We will providing hamburgers hot dogs potato salad and the steak. Steak will be cooked multiple ways for all to enjoy.
Everyone is asked to bring a small covered dish to share.
Annual Fishing Contest!
The annual Crandon Fishing Contest is Saturday, July 23rd!
THE ANNUAL CRANDON FISHING CONTEST WILL BE THIS SATURDAY, beginning at 7:30 am TO 12 noon.
Please sign-up at the Pavilion in the morning. You will be given the contest rules.
There will be prizes in different categories.

Paint & Sip
Adults can enjoy a community Paint & Sip this Sunday!
Come enjoy a Paint and Sip evening of creativity and fun with Kimberly of Wet Your Palette this Sunday at 6 pm in the Crandon Pavilion/East Beach.
We will be painting a summer lake scene, perfect for lake living lifestyle! On a 16x20 Canvas!
Everything needed to paint, including aprons will be provided!
Kimberly will provide full instruction to assist in your scenic painting while sipping your favorite beverage. “Bring your own,” keeping in mind that our beaches are “carry in/carry out.”
The cost for this event is $10 per person. CLCC will cover any additional cost for you.
Lake Treatment
There is going to be a lake treatment THIS WEDNESDAY AND THURSDAY. See post for restrictions.
The Lake will be treated this Wednesday and Thursday, July 13th and 14th in the area near the Cove, lower end of East Shore Drive, right of the Dam, and other hot spots.
The only restriction is no irrigation for FIVE days.

Miner's Baseball Game with Fireworks (Youth Night) — Root on our local minor league team, the Sussex County Miner's, as they take on the Québec Capitales. Game time is 7:05 pm. Enjoy the fireworks after the game. Your discounted ticket cost is $5, with a special for Crandon Youth

Lower Lake Support Needed

Lower Crandon Residents,
We've written a request to the town (of Stillwater) asking them to treat the lily pads on the lower lake. This issue was first discussed at the last meeting and will be further discussed in more detail at the July 19th meeting.
The town of Stillwater has asked Aquatic Analysist's, Inc. to come and do a presentation on "possible" treatment options/ lake management at the next town meeting. Nothing will change without the support and input of the people that reside in the lake community.
Please come to the town meeting July 19 at 7pm and show your support for cleaning up the Lower Lake.
Treatment of Lily Pads on Lower Crandon Lake

Lower Crandon Lake is currently owned by Stillwater Township. Residents of Lower Crandon are members of CLCC. Please show your support and represent Crandon as a solid community.

July 30th Update!
The date remains the same for our annual gathering ... the cuisine and time however, have changed ...
We had originally scheduled the Annual Lake Pig Roast for Saturday, July 30th at 6 pm. We will still be gathering on this date ... for a STEAK BUST AT 3 PM!
CLCC will provide the STEAK, burgers, dogs, rolls and condiments, and some salads. We ask everyone to bring a small covered dish down to share.
