The Sussex County Municipal Utilities Authority (SCMUA) is starting up their free tree giveaway again this spring. They are trying to increase the tree canopy cover in the Paulins Kill lake communities that has been lost to the emerald ash borer. SCMUA still has funding to provide 4-5' containerized trees to anyone living in Crandon Lakes who would want them ( max 5 while supplies last). Participants just need to be living in the lake community; they do not have to have lost ash trees on their property to be able to participate.

SCMUA staff can also be available to help those who need help getting their trees planted.
